How does Skreppa work?

The Skreppa app automatically begins recording trips as soon as you start driving. The app logs the start and end locations of the trip, the number of kilometers driven, and—based on RSK regulations or the collective agreements of specific labor unions—it calculates how much reimbursement you are entitled to from your employer for the trips you categorize as business trips in your private car.

Can employers track trips?

You control which trips are sent to employers. Before an employer receives a mileage report for approval, you must classify the trip as a work trip, and at the end of the month, you send all the trips to the employer through the Skreppa app.

You are 100% in control! Nothing is sent to the employer unless you choose to send it.

How do employees get reimbursed?

ou can use the app to send your employer a monthly reimbursement invoice, which the employer must approve before the invoice is paid. Employers who have an agreement with Skreppa receive a solution that simplifies the approval process for outstanding claims.

Employers who do not have an agreement with Skreppa can still use the monthly mileage log report, which you send through the app, to reimburse trips made on behalf of the company.”

Is trip capture automatic?

Yes, if you have granted the necessary permissions on your phone, all trips are recorded automatically — that is, where and at what time the trip started and ended, and how many kilometers were driven. You still need to classify the trip as a business trip and define the purpose of each trip.

Can I invite my team?

Employers who have an agreement with Skreppa can easily invite employees to download the Skreppa app via email or SMS. As soon as they log in using electronic ID, they become active in the app.

In these cases, the employer covers the cost of the app.

What about privacy and data security?

Skreppa ensures that no personal information is shared with your employer without you deciding to do so. You have 100% control over which trips are submitted for reimbursement.

How much does Skreppa cost?

There are two subscription options available. If you pay monthly, the subscription costs $7.99 per month (about 1,000 ISK p/m), but if you pay for the year upfront, you only pay $79.99 (about 10,000 ISK per year), saving you the cost of 2 months each year.
